DVM Inês Carvalho

Inês Carvalho is a veterinary surgeon with a background in small animal general practice and a particular focus on canine and feline clinical nutrition. Her interest in nutrition led her to pursue advanced training at Ghent University, followed by further continuing education in the field, including the ESAVS Clinical Nutrition programme. She is also a member of the WSAVA Global Nutrition Committee. Inês works with both pet owners and veterinary teams, providing evidence-based nutritional guidance for healthy animals as well as patients with complex medical conditions. Her clinical work focuses on translating nutrition science into practical, individualised strategies that can be successfully implemented in everyday veterinary practice.
